Carrier (Career)

The word 'Career' is often pronounced by people like 'Carrier'. As far as my knowledge and understanding goes, I think that is not the right way to pronounce it. But anyways. For a moment if I assume, that it is pronounced that way, I can apply some logic behind it. Some people, have a pre-established family business which they take over and grow. Some people decide on a path to follow and stick to it. Some people just get too much into it. So,

I see 'Career'(Carrier) as something which is sometimes Carried Forward, sometimes Carried On with, and which some people get Carried Away with.
